Tuesday was good.. although a disjointed day. Went on MF's field trip to the Hospital. Again I am reminded how much I like my job - lol... I come in early and it is quiet and can ease into the day... where as at school a bell rings and 24 first graders come noisly in the room ....
Got home and the guy was working on the tub. Got it finished in the afternoon without incident. Looks great.. we can use it today (had to give it 24 hours to dry and set). Need to finish the plumbing.. need a longer pipe for the tub spout.. also hope that the shower neck wont leak..
Once that is done will need to get the shower doors on.. probably do that in the morning. Started to cut the pieces to size last night.. got the bottom one done and my jig saw quit.. I think the switch is bad.. have to look at that tonight so I can get the rest of it completed.
Not feeling the best today.. back is stiff and coughing a bit.. feel like I an coming down with something.

A new year
Ok.. I have decided to start updating this again. Blogging is all the rage, and I like the ideas of capturing my ideas of the moment.
Was in Detroit yesterday for the Auto Show.. second time I went this year. MF and I went on Monday. This time the whole family went, and we had a really nice day. It was a spur of the moment thing.. trying to figure out something to do on Sunday morn.. after our 12" of snow on Saturday. Decided we would all go to Detroit. Stopped in Brighton and grabbed lunch then parked behind RenCen... caught a bus over to Cobo and when walking to main floor someone gave us 2 free tickets to the show.. so we saved $24 on that. Looked at t-shirts when we came in.. $14.. later in day I notice downstairs that they were down to $7.. no more than 20 minutes later when we were on our way out they were down to $5 - lol.. Got a bag full of stuff for $12. Took DPM over to RenCen and had dinner in cafe downstairs before heading back. All in all a very pleasant day.
On Sat we got 12" snow.. did a lot of shopping.. great time to do it nobody was out. Went to Old Navy and got a ton of stuff.. all 75% off.. Including a really nice winter jacket for $10. Had lunch at Peanut Barrel and chilled out and had some beer and peanuts.. the kids love the place.... not sure if that is a good sign or a bad one - lol
