Ok I only seem to be doing this once a week.... I'll try to be better at that.
This is the second time I have done this post.. the first one didnt publish.. hmm.. that has never happened before.
Week started out a bit rough, but seems to have recovered. I worked with a trainer on Tue and alone on Wed.. that went well.. I really like this job! They seem to call me nearly every day to see if I can come in early. They are either really short or help or have scheduling problems.. maybe some of both.
Kris was off yesterday sick.. so I stayed home with the kids, that went well. Went out to lunch then stopped by the main library for the first time. Found a book on MI lumbering that I have been looking for.
Going to head up and see my mom tomorrow after work.

Once a week?
Huh.. I only seem to do this on Fridays - lol
Been a realitivly good week... a bit rough in the early, but improved toward the later.
Worked on Tue with a trainer and alone on Wed, both went really well and I enjoy the job. I asked for next Friday off to go to the Crue concert.. so they scheduled me for a double- lol... hmm.. now I have to get out of that. Nearly everyday they call me to see if I can come in early.... think they have either labor or scheduling problems... maybe some of both.
Was not in yesterday, Kris was sick so I stayed home with the kids.. that went well.. went downtown to main library and looked around.. found on MI logging that I have been looking for. Seems Vickers has disapeared.. off for a few days.
Think I will go up to visit my mom with the kids tomorrow afternoon when I get off from work.

Friday, again
Ok.. so a week has gone by.. there were a few bad days.. but we will skip that.
I started with with City this week.. so far so good... Went through training on Mon & Tue. Go in tonight for hands on training, and again on Sat.
Got 2 cell phones yesterday to replace the one I washed. Then A tells me she bought me one like the one I ruined... as a Vday gift.... Got upset.. didn't want her to spend the money.. and if it was a gift why tell me? I would have been much more gratious about it if it was presented to me as a gift.
Finished Bon Scott book Highway to Hell last night. Overall I was disapointed with it.. Heavy on the facts, and a lot of the behind the scenes management of the band.. which they admited the band often didnt know about.. and it really doesnt have anything to do with the story of Bon Scott. What really came out of it was that everybody who met him seemed to like him. and he seemed very lonely which probably fueled his drinking problem. There were a few interesting points a a glimpse of insite into a couple of songs.... One point toward the end I found sad.. was that his wish was to be buried in Scottland where he was born rather than Austrialia which is where he is... of course he never wrote it down.. when his mother mentioned (the Xmas before his death) that he should write a will.. he said 'why I am not going to die'... Funny.. he forgot his own words... "I ain't too old to hurry, because I ain't too old to die"

Friday, again
Well the end of the week has come again. Did not feel the best this week. Went to bed early again last night. Felt better this morning, but not the best now.. real sick of feeling like this!
Going to visit Drew tomorrow, with the complete family.. this should be interesting.
Have not heard back from the city.. left a message with them. Time marches on.. I'm just not sure where it is going - lol

Mid week
Not much going on.. I am feeling much better.. even exercised last night.. now it seems A has got it.. seems to feel like I did last week.
Bossman has been missing for 2 days.. so work is relaxed. Still working on trying to get another cell phone.. have not tried my new one.. I doubt if it will work after it properly dries out.. but who knows.
Started reading my Bon Scott book.. the begining of it is awful slow.. lots of mentions of bands and places that never made it.. Does set a general tone for his lifestyle, but that could have been done in a chapter rather than 100 pages... I am in the early 70's and must be nearing the AC/DC era.
Also listening to my 1984 book.. getting toward the end of it... Funny how little I remember of the basic story.. yet I clearly remember certain parts.. like the change of the war enemy during the middle of a speech. The enemy is East Asia.. it has *always* been East Asia.. Eurasia is the ally.. they have *always* been the ally.

New Week
Friday was a really bad day.. my back was killing me... and I realized that I didn't have my cell phone.. I worried that it was still in my pants from the day before... the pants I had thrown in the washer before I left for work.. sure enough I washed my cellphone :(
The weekend was good... Had a bit of a cold.. but things went well.. It was my daughters 4th birthday and we had a party with her friends on Saturday.. That went much better than I expected... girls are so quiet - lol
Yesterday I had a physical for the City job... I seemed to pass, so I hope to hear from them today or tomorrow.
